Partners are important in any pregnancy, labour and birth. The birth partner may be the baby’s other parent, it may be your mum or friend, whatever the relationship, the role of your pregnancy and birth partner is key. In my experience, birth partners frequently feel ‘useless’ and ‘scared’ by the role as they don’t know what to expect.
This session includes both you and your partner, we discuss yours and your partner’s worries and anxieties about what you are venturing in to together. This session aims to help develop a plan for your birth partner so they are clear of exactly what their role is, so they embrace the role positively.
